In 1739, his father "Thomas Pope of Haverhill yeoman" conveyed 1/4 part of the land laid out by Dorchester and Stoughton in "the right of his late Father Thomas Pope deceased"... and 1/12th of the land that was laid out to "Henry Merrifield deceased (grandfather by the Mother's side unto the said Thomas Pope)."
In 1741, the boundary between Massachusetts and New Hampshire was set, and passed through Haverhill with father Thomas Pope finding himself on the New Hampshire side. This town came to be known as Plaistow, NH.
In Plaistow (Haverhill), Thomas and Hannah "owned the covenant, Feb. 26, 1743"

He sold about 40 acres of land in Plastow in April 1750, and moved to pioneer a new town. "Thomas Pope, junr of Pasto" bought Lot number 53 in Goffstown, NH in 1753. In 1757, he sold Lot 54. He was 52 yo.
In 1768, Thomas and David Pope sign a petition (aged 63 and 22, respectively).
In 1776, David Pope is on the Roll of Cpt Aaron Adam's Company (32 yo). Thomas Pope is on "A Larm List of Henniker" (71 yo).
In 1779, the Weare soldiers, mustered by Col. Moses Kelley 20 July 1779, included Simeon Pope who "lived in Henniker" (age 18)
In 1786, Thomas and David have petitioned for a new meeting house in Henniker, joined by Simion Pope. (ages 81, 42 and 25, respectively)
Thomas died 12 November 1806 in Henniker, aged 101!
