Mikhail Zozulin - from western Galicia, mundane family name is Zozula - non-English speaking grandpa just said "cuckoo", family fought the Turks and one was taken prisoner, Zozulin means cuckoo according to Tatiana's name book, unfortunately not dated and not in Wickenden. Interestingly, Wickenden has Sosulia and Zovzulia, no meanings given.
