- Daughter Anne was captured by the Iroquois at the age of nine and was held captive until May 1666. Upon her return, she spent time with the Catholic nuns to help her regain her faith and relearn their way of life. She wanted to be a nun but did not pass the testing process. She married twice but had no children.
