Tina Laferriere Krull paid for a genealogical report on Robert Lozier from Montreal, March 27, 1998 & sent me a copy via email in 2007. It states that Antoine Roy said Desjardins was born on the 23-03-1635 in parish of Saint- Jean, town of Joigny, at Sens, in Bourgogne. He was the son of Olivier Roy and of Catherine Boderge. He arrived in Quebec on the 18-06-1665 as soldier in company of Froment, regiment of Carigan-Salieres.

This report also says that he was living at Julien Talua's place & on the 10-07-1684, he was surprised in bed with the wife of Talua & was killed.

Antoine Roy was shot dead by his landlord Vendemont when he surprised him in a compromising situation with Vendemont's wife, Anne Godeby. (per Madawaskan Heritage by Leo G. Cyr, pg.33) https://www.joanshome.com/genealogy1/getperson.php?personID=IG2794&tree=genealogy1
